Chris Kann is the President and Owner of CSK Marketing, Inc., a marketing services firm based in Racine, Wisconsin. The company provides marketing support in the form of qualitative market research, facilitation, other types of marketing insight. Chris has been a professional research moderator for 24 years, and a marketing professional for over 34 years. She has conducted research for consumer and business-to-business clients in the apparel, consumer packaged goods, outdoor, food, tool, and industrial electronics industries, among others.
Chris received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to starting her own company, Chris spent nearly eleven years in various corporate marketing positions at Jockey International, Inc., IN-SINK-ERATOR, and Johnson Outdoor (formerly Johnson Worldwide Associates).
In her professional association, the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA), Chris is a Past President, former Co-Chair of the Chicago Chapter and the Public Relations Advisory Group, and has served as the Annual Conference Co-Chair for the 2005 and 2015 Conferences. She currently serves on the Education Committee, and as Chair of the Worldwide Conference on Qualitative Research. She has been a presenter at Annual Conferences in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017 and 2021. Chris has received the distinction of Advance Elevate and Thought Leader, reflecting her dedication to studying and advancing the field of qualitative research. She has had articles published in Views magazine, Survey magazine, Greenbook.org and the American Marketing Association Marketing Insights Newsletter, and has been a presenter on the QCasts webinar series.
Chris also serves on the Board of Trustees for The Prairie School, an independent college-preparatory school in Wind Point, Wisconsin.
